Day 02: Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla – Trek from Lukla to Phakding (2,652m | 3–4 hrs)
Early morning transfer from hotel to airport for the scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla (via Ramechhap during peak season). After landing at Lukla, your trek begins on a gentle downhill trail following the Dudh Koshi River. The path passes prayer wheels, Mani walls, and small Sherpa settlements, making this a relaxed and scenic first trekking day.
Day 03: Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440m | 6 hrs)
Today’s trek crosses several suspension bridges and enters Sagarmatha National Park. The trail gradually climbs through pine forests before a final steep ascent to Namche Bazaar—the main trading hub of the Everest region. Namche offers bakeries, cafés, mountain views, and a vibrant Sherpa atmosphere.
Day 04: Acclimatization Hike to Everest View Hotel (3,880m | 3–4 hrs)
This acclimatization day includes a scenic hike to Everest View Hotel, offering panoramic views of Everest, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, and Thamserku. The trail is gradual and culturally rich, passing Sherpa villages and yak pastures. Returning to Namche helps your body adjust safely to altitude.
Day 05: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3,860m | 5–6 hrs)
The trail descends through forests to the river before climbing to Tengboche Monastery—the spiritual center of the Khumbu region. This day is special for its dramatic mountain scenery and spiritual atmosphere, with views of Ama Dablam dominating the skyline.
Day 06: Trek from Tengboche to Dingboche (4,410m | 5 hrs)
Descending through forests and crossing the Imja Khola, the trail passes Pangboche village before entering alpine terrain. Dingboche is a beautiful high-altitude settlement surrounded by stone-walled fields and towering peaks.
Day 07: Acclimatization Hike to Nangkartshang Peak (5,083m | 4–5 hrs)
A challenging but rewarding acclimatization hike. The trail climbs steeply above Dingboche to Nangkartshang Peak, offering stunning views of Makalu, Ama Dablam, and the Imja Valley. This hike greatly improves acclimatization before higher trekking days.
Day 08: Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche (4,910m | 5 hrs)
The trail follows a broad glacial valley, passing memorials dedicated to fallen climbers. The landscape becomes rugged and dramatic as you approach Lobuche, surrounded by towering Himalayan peaks.
Day 09: Trek from Lobuche to Everest Base Camp – Return to Gorak Shep (5,164m | 8 hrs)
