Early in the morning, you drive from Kathmandu to Nagarkot, following scenic hillside roads through rural settlements and forested landscapes. Upon arrival, the fresh mountain air and wide open viewpoints immediately create a refreshing contrast to the city.
The hike begins from Nagarkot, following gentle forest trails and village paths through terraced farmland and quiet countryside. The route is peaceful and easy, making it suitable for beginners and families. Along the way, you enjoy panoramic Himalayan views on clear days, with sights of Langtang, Ganesh Himal, Dorje Lakpa, and even Mount Everest in the far distance.
Reaching the main Nagarkot viewpoint is the highlight of the day, offering sweeping mountain panoramas and an ideal place for photography and relaxation.
